In order to accurately diagnose problems we own many scan tools. We have six factory equivalent scan tools that give us the same diagnostic and reprogramming capability that most dealerships have. So we can do the same work, but at a lower cost to you!

The MODIS is a multi tool, scanner and four channel digital oscilloscope. It allows us to capture and display live voltage patterns in real time. We can test almost every type of computer sensor and signal created and used on the cars of today. We can record and review data frame by frame looking for irregularities and glitches. It also has enhanced scanner data software for American and Asian car lines.

| Why do we have so many different scan tools? There are a lot of different vehicle lines available to purchase and the vehicles of today have many computer controlled systems. These tools are needed to help us diagnose and repair something as simple as a power window problem or something as complicated as an engine running problem. Each different scan tool specializes in different areas and vehicle lines. We need to have different scan tools available to help us diagnose the problem, complete the repair and then reprogram the vehicle’s computer if needed. We want to be able to provide the same level of repair as a dealership, but at a much lower cost. |

We have subscriptions to several online resources. The online resources provide a resource that technicians can use to research and chat with other technicians about common problems and intermittent or hard to solve vehicle complaints. Some of the resources provide online training. This is an economical way to help train our technicians and help them stay up-to-date with automotive service technology.
