Terry started at LRE in 1998 as the Service Writer. Terry started his career at a small repair shop in Highland after high school. He worked as a mechanic at a dealership for 7 years, then as a service writer for an independent automotive repair shop for 5 years prior to LRE. Terry has experience in working on everything from small cars to large tractors. He grew up on a family farm and continues to farm about 1400 acres outside of Highland with his family. Terry purchased LRE Automotive in October of 2008. Terry and his wife Nicole reside in Grantfork, IL and have two children.

Debbie has been working at LRE since 2001. Debbie has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from SIUE and takes care of all the financial management and accounting areas of the business. She also assists with other business operations, such as customer service, web and computer technology. Debbie and her husband, are raising two boys and live just outside of Worden, IL.

Greg began working at LRE in January 2011. Prior to LRE he worked in the parts industry for over 20 years. He assists Terry with all of the service writing duties. He is available to answer any questions, explain, and provide estimates on any repair work needed on your visit at LRE. Greg and his family reside in Troy, IL.

In September 2005 Alex began working at LRE, after previously working as a technician at another repair shop during school. Alex works on steering and suspension problems and does most of the engine and transmission repair. Alex has 3 ASE Certifications and a certificate in Automotive Repair from Lewis and Clark Community College. Alex and his family reside in Moro, IL.

In 2007 David joined our team to help with light repair work and shop clean up. In 2012, David received his degree in Automotive Technology from Ranken Technical College. David helps us with the steering and suspension repair and under hood repairs. David lives in Staunton, IL.

Danny began working at LRE in May 2013 after graduating from St Louis Community College – Forest Park with a degree in Automotive Technology. He is certified as a Master Technician with ASE. In 2018 he was awarded the NAPA/ASE Technician of the year for the Mt Vernon, IL Distribution center. Danny currently helps us with computer diagnostics and engine evaluation and repair. Danny and family reside in St. Louis, Mo.

Mark started working at LRE in May of 2015. His passion for cars began at a young age working alongside family members at a family owned repair shop. He graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a degree in Automotive Technology. He helps with most of the under hood repair, but has experience in all areas of mechanical repair. Mark and his family reside in Edwardsville, IL.

Josh began working at LRE June 2016. He has worked in automotive repair shops for over 10 years. He is currently helping us with alignments and suspension work, but has experience in all areas of mechanical repairs for domestic and import vehicles. Josh lives in Worden, IL.

In Loving Memory of Jeff McNeilly, July 1967 – November 2009. In August 2008 Jeff McNeilly joined our LRE team after working in the parts industry for 23 years. Jeff assisted Terry in the office as the Service Writer. Sadly, in August 2009 Jeff was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and suffered through a tough battle. November 6, 2009 Jeff lost the battle with cancer and is deeply missed. In the short year Jeff worked at LRE everyone gained valuable knowledge and a deep friendship that will forever be treasured.
